Ask the EPA to Ban Mountaintop Removal Mining

Currently the EPA is reviewing hundreds of mountaintop removal mining permits, which is a good start. But they need to hear from us that this practice needs to be banned altogether.

Letter	Administrator Jackson, Mountaintop removal mining has destroyed 800 miles of mountains and wrecked more than 1200 miles of rivers and waterways throughout Appalachia. As you review the permits for current MTR, I ask you to please issue a ban on the practice. Sincerely,
