I was really excited to hear about this awhile ago, and even happier to see it moving forward, but the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), he Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and The Department of Transportation (DOT) have teamed up to develop sustainable, affordable housing.

According to Ken Ward Jr. at the Charleston Gazette, President Obama has announced his plans to speed up carbon capture and sequestration -- aka CCS, or more commonly by the wildly inappropriately named 'clean coal'.

The NY Times reported today that the Obama Administration budget includes a massive loan guarantee to the nuclear industry. This loan program will guarantee up to $54 billion for the nuclear industry to build seven to ten new reactors.
