This week, Environmental Action activists made dozens of phone calls into their senator's offices opposing the planned amendment being offered up by Alaskan senator, Lisa Murkowski. 

And look at that, Sen. Murkowski opted not to introduce the amendment. It wasn't just us that got in on the action -- most environmental groups did some kind of action on the issue this week. 

Together we ended up making enough of a stink around the issue to keep the Senator from attaching a ridiculous amendment that would've gutted the Clean Air Act. 

Just saying perhaps we can get together and make things happen.
