Earlier this week, I blogged about President Obama's six month moratorium on new deepwater drilling in the Gulf, and today, I called Environmental Action members to action, in an effort to let Congress know that six months isn't enough.

The White House and the oil industry want the public to believe they're looking for a way to make sure this type of environmental catastrophe never happens again. The truth is, there's only one solution -- no more offshore drilling. Since President Obama is failing to take the bold action we need, we're calling on Congress to do so.
