I was really excited to hear about this awhile ago, and even happier to see it moving forward, but the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), he Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and The Department of Transportation (DOT) have teamed up to develop sustainable, affordable housing. 

Talk about win! 

First off, it's nice to see a bunch of federal agencies working together. But more importantly, it's nice to see those agencies working to support an increase in public transit, and making sure that as we're developing public housing, we're doing it in a way that benefits the environment. 

We'll see where the plans and conference end up -- but it's certainly a great start. Kudos to the Obama administration, and those agencies!
